Your Part in our Team:
- You’ll design, implement, and continuously improve our HSE management system in line with ISO 45001, while ensuring seamless integration with other high-level standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, and 27001.
- You’ll ensure full compliance with German HSE law and keep up to date with legislative changes, both nationally and internationally.
- You’ll interpret and apply international HSE legislation (ILO, OSHA, EU Directives, ADR/RID, IECEx, CE, UL/CSA) across multiple jurisdictions, making pragmatic decisions for our multinational operations.
- Through visible leadership, coaching, and accountability, you’ll foster a strong HSE culture and elevate performance across the organization.
- You’ll conduct regular risk assessments and root cause analyses, ensuring proactive measures are in place.
- You’ll establish audit protocols, lead internal audits, and manage external certification audits.
- You’ll create and strengthen relationships with regulatory authorities, senior leadership, and operational teams, ensuring HSE is at the heart of everything we do.
- You’ll promote the integration of HSE with business and quality systems to optimize compliance and efficiency.
You bring along:
- A degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 8 years in HSE, ideally within internationally operated, high-risk, or regulated multinational industries.
- Demonstrated mastery of ISO 45001 and proven ability to integrate with ISO 9001, 14001, and 27001 frameworks.
- In-depth understanding of German HSE legislation, backed by hands-on compliance experience.
- Strong grasp of international HSE frameworks (ILO, OSHA, EU directives).
- You’re a persuasive, direct, and trusted partner at all organizational levels.
- Fluent in German and English (C1-Level - both written and spoken) - additional languages are a plus.
- Knowledge of product compliance (CE marking, UL, CSA certifications) is highly appreciated.
- Ability to contribute to product safety and regulatory compliance alongside design, engineering, or quality functions.
- Certifications such as SiFa, ISO Lead Auditor, or equivalent.
- Experience in sustainability, ESG, or CSR initiatives.
- Exposure to manufacturing, energy, electronics, or similar sectors.
