Your Part in our Team:

  • You will primarily drive forward the implementation and testing of firmware for fuel cell systems and their accessories using test-driven development with the support of the embedded software development team.
  • Your tasks will also include selecting and evaluating suitable hardware for the embedded systems.
  • You will actively work on the creation of specifications and cost estimates for new products and coordinate the development of concepts and software architecture designs.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining the codebase of existing products.
  • The automation of test procedures and continuous integration are part of your daily business.
  • You will work closely with other development teams to ensure optimal implementation of projects. Your colleagues will benefit from your extensive specialist knowledge.

You bring along:

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, information technology or similar.
  • You have several years of professional experience in embedded software development.
  • You have excellent knowledge of the programming languages C and C++ and you are familiar with the modern C++ standards C++11 to C++17.
  • You are familiar with microcontrollers and their memory and peripheral systems. Experience with microcontrollers of the STM32 family would be desirable.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of embedded real-time operating systems.
  • The ability to read schematics would be a nice add-on.
  • Good written and spoken German and very good English skills round off your profile.
